Professional Bio
Maggie Watson is a Business Administration - Human Resources Student in her final semester at Georgian College. Maggie Watson completed two back-to-back co-ops at a company where she was primarily responsible for full cycle recruitment, employee communications and the development/implementation of the company’s COVID-19 Policy and Procedures. As a result of her co-op work experience and the Human Resources program theory, she has found a passion in recruitment, employee relations and corporate/employee health and wellness. Furthermore, her history of employment in Customer Service has given her an abundance of transferable skills that enhance her existing abilities including effective communication, administrative and organizational skills.
Maggie values meaningful connections, inclusive environments, and open communication. Her goal is to find employment in a organization where the culture is prioritized and valued; An organization where she can recruit like minded individuals. As an advocate for health and wellness, she would also like to implement or continue the development of a corporate/organization wellness plan.
Maggie is currently working in the hospitality industry at a restaurant just outside of Orillia, ON. In her spare time, you can find her out in the wilderness adventuring, on the water or with her family.
